What is a bespoke design?

When you want a web-site that defines your business, in a way you want it defined, chances are, you'll want a bespoke design.  In essence, our people, in combination with the people that define the marketing vision for your company will sit down to thrash out a site that looks the way you want it to - no templates, no copying from other sites - just a completely original design that only your company will have.

What does it involve?

Usually, we'd either work closely with your design people to create the overall "look-and-feel" of the site, or alternatively, we'd work from mock-ups drafted by you - often created in Photoshop, or some similar tool.  Generally, this is a cyclical process, where we create a site with design, which is then reviewed by you - any changes would then go into the next round of production, and so on.  Once complete, we'd then release the design to either yourselves, or to our content team, who'd then populate the site with all the necessary information.  It can sometimes be a hard road, creating the perfect design, but it's a worthwhile one when you see a result that properly exemplifies your business and it's underlying ethos.

What else should I know?

Well, it goes without saying that any design we create will be accessible, in-line with government regulations.  An accessible site is one that can be accessed by any customers you may have with disabilities.  Using software such as screen readers - applications that "speak out-loud" the content of a site, these users will still be able to interact with your site, which is good for everyone.  Not to mention it's a legal requirement!

How much will it cost?

It's fair to say that this route tends to be a more costly one - simply due to the time and effort involved.  However, the result is a unique site for your company, as well as ownership of the intellectual property that goes with it, (i.e. you can take this design away with you - we relinquish any ownership once it's signed off).  Pricing, as with all our products and services, is dependant on your requirements.
